Start with a world you already know
Harry Potter, Minecraft, Pokémon, Star Wars, Super Mario and Lilo & Stitch are among the names that pop up across clothing, wall art and things for the home. If you already know which world you’re looking for, use it as your first filter, then choose a product type.
Posters are the biggest group, covering everything from Kanto 151 and Hyrule to Middle-earth and Classic Empire. Mugs, T-shirts and framed pictures are close behind, while lamps, plush toys, jewellery, sweaters and collectible figures open up quite different options.
The wall, the wardrobe or the desk?
A good sale find doesn’t have to start with a percentage. Start with where the product will be used instead. The wall points to posters and pictures. The wardrobe points to T-shirts, sweaters, pyjamas and caps. The desk and shelf point to lamps, figures, mouse mats, mugs and smaller accessories.
That makes it easier to rule out things that are only cheap and find something you’d have wanted to take a closer look at even at the regular price.
Small and big finds in the same trip
Jewellery, keyrings, pins and stationery can make a nice little extra. Lamps, figures, backpacks and larger wall pieces take up more space, both in the room and in the budget. That makes sale hunting less one-note than simply sorting by lowest price.
Another shortcut is to choose by intended use first. Clothes can become part of your everyday wardrobe, lamps and figures can claim a permanent spot in your room, and posters can be swapped out with the season or your interests. Then the discount is a bonus, not the whole reason for buying.
Shopping for a gift? Start with the recipient’s favourite world, then choose between something for the home, something to use or something to wear. Harry Potter alone ranges from jewellery and advent calendars to posters and home décor, while Minecraft goes from lamps and backpacks to clothes and desk accessories.
From reduced prices to new arrivals
The sale brings together products with a sale price below the regular price. So the price shown on each product is the starting point here, whether you’re after a little gift or a bigger treat for yourself.
Looked through the offers and would rather see what’s arrived recently? Head over to new arrivals. If you’re buying a gift, gifts can help you narrow things down by occasion and budget.
