From desk to wall
A gaming room isn’t just about the PC, console and screen. It’s the light by the monitor, the poster above the desk, the mouse pad under the keyboard and the detail by the door that make the room feel personal. These gifts are picked for exactly that role.
Lamps and posters take centre stage, but you’ll also find mouse pads, desk mats, cushions, throws, prints and doormats. Minecraft, Star Wars, Pokémon, Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings, Stitch and Super Mario give the room different looks without everything having to come from the same game.
Start with the part of the room the recipient cares about most. A lamp can change the mood around the screen, a large mouse pad gives the whole desk a new feel, and wall art fills an empty space without needing more cables. Cushions and throws bring their interests beyond the setup and into the rest of the room.
In a small room, one standout detail may be enough; for a full setup, several smaller things can work together. It’s especially useful when you know what the room looks like, but not what else the person wants.
If you’d rather buy for the person than the room, head to Gifts for gamers. Mugs, clothes, plush toys and other types of gifts are part of the mix there, alongside room accessories.
You can also build a gift around one corner of the room. A mouse pad and lamp can give the desk a clear direction, while a poster and cushion can do the same for the rest of the room without bringing technical equipment into it.
