Puzzles

The picture keeps you interested from the first piece to the last

A puzzle takes time, so the picture matters more than just how the box looks. Harry Potter can fill the table with magic and Hogwarts, Pokémon brings a huge cast of characters, and Minecraft turns its blocky world into a natural puzzle design. Star Wars, Super Mario, Paw Patrol and Lilo & Stitch take things further into movies, gaming and family-friendly worlds.

With so much variety, puzzles don’t have to be a neutral activity. The design can be what makes you want to get started, and the finished image is the reward when the last piece clicks into place.

From quick puzzles to 1,000 pieces and beyond

The number of pieces affects how long a puzzle takes, how detailed it is and how much space you need while putting it together. Smaller puzzles are easier to finish in one or a few sessions. Around 1,000 pieces makes for a bigger project, and higher piece counts call for even more patience and workspace.

You’ll find puzzles with both fewer and more pieces, including 1,000-piece versions for anyone after a bigger project. Some puzzles also come in formats other than the classic flat image. The exact piece count and format are listed on the product page.

Gaming, movies and family favourites bring different challenges

The design also affects what the puzzle is like to put together. A Minecraft scene with repeating blocks makes for a different visual challenge than a detailed Harry Potter design. Pokémon may have lots of little characters to sort through, while Star Wars movie art often uses larger characters and darker areas.

Harry Potter, Pokémon and Minecraft also have other products for when you want the design to take up space beyond the puzzle table.

When you want more activities around the table

Puzzles are about building one picture piece by piece, so they’re different from games with rules, turns and winners. Board games and card games offer another kind of activity, while toys open up more ways to play. A puzzle has its own rhythm: look, sort, try and gradually bring the picture together.
