The blue robot hero on your wall
Mega Man is known for his blue armor, arm cannon and battles against the Robot Masters. The series has its roots in classic platform games, where new weapons are unlocked after defeating bosses and then put to use against the next challenge.
The poster puts Mega Man front and center, without menus or game interface around him. The blue suit, helmet and Mega Buster are enough to bring back the retro feel of Capcom's series. If you've hopped between platforms and learned boss patterns, much of the nostalgia lies in the character himself. Mega Man debuted on the NES in 1987, and Dr. Wily has been losing ever since. Capcom's pixelated history is there in the back of your mind, even when the artwork is newer than the first games.
