61 × 91.5 cm puts the poster centre stage
A large poster doesn’t need much around it. The format lets characters, landscapes and graphics stand out from a distance, and works well above a bed, sofa, desk or dresser. Zelda can use all of Hyrule as a backdrop, while Batman or Star Wars can build an entire poster around one striking character.
You’ll find all poster sizes under posters. If you want a smaller format, head to medium posters.
Gaming posters with room for the whole picture
Games like Zelda, Super Mario, Halo, God of War, The Witcher, Pokémon and World of Warcraft have artwork that holds up at a larger size. A map, a group of characters or a scene from the game gets more breathing room than on smaller prints, and can become the focal point of a gaming room.
Large posters work well with simple graphics, too. A logo or a single character can make more of an impression with plenty of space around it.
Film, anime and superheroes on the wall
Star Wars, Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings, Batman and Spider-Man use the large format differently from game posters. A film poster can look like a classic cinema print, while superhero artwork often zooms in closer on the character.
Anime often features illustrations packed with characters and details. See more series-focused artwork under anime posters.
Music and art need room to spread out, too
Band posters, album art and graphic prints take on a different presence at 61 × 91.5 cm. The same goes for illustrations that aren’t tied to a particular film or game. A large poster is as much about the format as it is about the subject.
One large poster or several together
A single 61 × 91.5 cm poster can fill much of a smaller wall on its own. On a larger wall, you can combine several posters, but it’s worth giving them enough breathing room. Two striking posters don’t need to compete for the same space.
Frames and poster hangers can change the overall look without changing the poster itself. A colourful game print and a dark film image can feel quite different, even in the same format.
When the door is the best wall
If you want to use a narrower space, door posters are made for a different shape. Large posters work best when you want wider or more traditional wall art with room around it.
